ISG has appointed Matt Blowers as its new chief executive, as Paul Cossell steps down from the role after six years.
Cossell will remain with ISG as vice chair, but will hand over leadership to Blowers, who will be supported by Zoe Price and Bart Korink, who will also take on enlarged leadership roles.
Price becomes chief operating officer for ISG’s entire UK operations, while Korink is chief operating officer for the firm’s international business.
Meanwhile Tom Smith has joined the statutory board as chief commercial officer, with Karen Booth, Jane Falconer and Richard Hubbard continuing in their roles as chief financial officer, chief human resources officer and chief marketing officer respectively.
Blowers, currently chief operating officer for ISG’s global fit-out business, joined the company in 1998.
Cossell said: “I couldn’t be prouder to announce Matt as my successor for the best job in the construction industry. It’s been an absolute privilege to lead a business with a staggering wealth of talent and ambition, and personally witness Matt progress and thrive over the 20+ plus years we’ve worked together.
“This long-planned succession will provide the springboard for our continued success as we move into a highly dynamic business and social landscape, where our skills and expertise will prove pivotal to many of our most important global challenges.”
