    There’s your problem right there. Construction programming, the critical path method etc, were never intended to be used for this purpose. They were once always management tools. They have acquired contractual significance over the decades, and been bent to legal uses because, well, I guess it is because it is so convenient.
    If there are 20000 tasks in a program and each one has a duration, and earliest star date and an earliest finish date, is that 60000 contractual promises?
